WE ARE:
- a 20 unit housing co-op located on West 71st between Granville and Southwest Marine Drive in Southwest Vancouver.
- a mixed demographic of singles, couples and families with an array of lifestyles.
- dependent on everyone's participation to maintain the co-op and we expect a commitment of 8 hours per month. We all attend committee meetings and General Membership Meetings and do chores in between. Therefore participation is required.
- a non-smoking building that welcomes cats. No dogs are currently allowed to live in the building with the exception of service dogs.
- across the street from a bus stop. You can catch the #10 Granville & the 100 Marpole.
- a 10 minute drive to the Vancouver International Airport, a 30 minute ride to downtown Vancouver and a 10 minute ride to the nearest Skytrain Station.
- a small building and we want to meet everyone who will be living in the suite, which means everyone must be present at the interview, sorry but no exceptions.
WE HAVE:
- an array of services a 5 minute walk from our door including banks, grocery stores, restaurants, a post office, a dental office, a physiotherapy clinic and an insurance company
- three neighbourhood parks all within walking distance from our building including the Fraser River Park, William Mackie Park and Marpole Park.
- building socials several times a year including: pumpkin carving, the Festival of Lights and others
- meetings once a month for up to 2 hours on a weeknight. Committee work (Finance, Membership/Education & Maintenance) is handed out to be completed between meetings.
